Arsenal open talks with Bayern Munich’s Kingsley Coman ahead of potential summer move

Arsenal have entered discussions with the representatives of Bayern Munich winger Kingsley Coman regarding a potential summer transfer.

According to reports from Florian Plettenberg, Coman, 28, is expected to leave Bayern at the end of the season, with the Bundesliga giants reportedly deeming him surplus to requirements as they prepare for a squad overhaul.

The Gunners are actively negotiating with the French international’s camp in an effort to secure his signature, although competition remains strong.

Clubs from the Saudi Pro League have also expressed significant interest and are prepared to offer more lucrative financial packages.

Despite being unable to match the wages on offer in Saudi Arabia, Arsenal are banking on their Champions League qualification and potential Premier League title challenge to sway Coman’s decision.

The North London club views the winger as a valuable addition who can bring experience and depth to Mikel Arteta’s attacking options.
