A Nigerian lady has voiced her displeasure online after heavy rain began seeping into a serviced apartment she had rented in Lekki Phase 1 for a music recording session.
Taking to her X account (formerly known as Twitter), she narrated how what was supposed to be a professional working environment quickly turned into a chaotic scene due to water leaking from the ceiling.
She wrote:
“It started raining just now inside a service apartment where we are recording music. This is inside Lekki Phase 1 btw! Crazy!”
She pointed out that the apartment was not only booked but also paid for, expressing her disappointment at the poor maintenance of what should have been a premium facility.
To further show the extent of the issue, she attached a video capturing the exact moment rainwater began to pour into the room, halting their recording session.
Her post quickly gained traction, drawing numerous reactions from other social media users. While some sympathized with her ordeal, others took the opportunity to criticize the quality of so-called luxury accommodations in Lagos.
