Nigerian Clinician Issues Stern Warning To FCT Minister Nyesom Wike After New Health Video Surfaces –

  • A Nigerian medical professional has warned FCT Minister Nyesom Wike on social media regarding a new video.
  • Wike, faced rumors of collapsing in Abuja due to excessive alcohol intake.
  • Reports suggested he was taken to France for treatment and might not walk again.

A Nigerian medical professional on the popular social media platform X, previously known as Twitter, has issued a serious warning to Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Minister Nyesom Wike following the emergence of a concerning new video.

The former Governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike, recently made headlines after rumors spread that he had collapsed in Abuja due to excessive alcohol consumption. Reports also claimed that he was rushed to France for treatment, with some even suggesting that he might never walk again. However, Wike quickly dismissed these rumors, asserting that he was in good health. In his first public appearance after the incident, Wike’s condition sparked mixed reactions, with many viewers claiming that he had indeed collapsed, as he appeared to struggle with walking properly in the footage.

A new video of the 57-year-old FCT minister has recently surfaced online, showing him struggling to navigate a staircase. In the video, Wike can be seen holding onto railings or other surfaces to maintain his balance, unable to walk steadily on his own. His movements seemed awkward, with some observers suggesting he displayed signs of paralysis.

Reacting to the video, a Nigerian clinician noted signs of hemiparesis in Wike, a condition characterized by partial paralysis or weakness on one side of the body, which can affect limbs and facial muscles. Hemiparesis is commonly associated with neurological conditions like strokes.

The clinician further emphasized that Wike’s health issues could worsen if left unaddressed. He urged the FCT minister to take better care of his health, particularly by reducing his alcohol consumption, managing his blood pressure, and adopting a more positive and compassionate attitude.

The Doctor wrote; “Dear @GovWike , some of us are trained in healthcare and can see affliction when it’s obvious. I see hemiparesis, and the terrible thing about it is that it may reoccur if the underlying cause is not fully addressed, or if you don’t take proper care of your health. And what do I mean? Quite alcohol, manage your blood pressure, rest & stop being wicked & too hateful because it takes a whole lot to carry hate in your system. The choice is yours. Already a large percentage of Nigerians don’t wish you well, but it’s up to you to do what’s right for yourself & your family. Your choice.🤷🏾‍♂️ Goodluck!👍🏽.”
