In other news, A Nigerian woman has expressed the view that dating or marrying a man who possesses cooking skills and can manage basic self-care is a concerning sign.
In a video posted online, she cautioned other women against pursuing relationships or marriage with men who are capable of cooking.
Elaborating on her perspective, she argued that if a man is able to cook, during times of conflict or disagreement with his girlfriend or wife, he may choose to prepare his own meals, eat, and then rest peacefully.
“When you get married to a man who can cook it’s a red flag. When you guys are fighting, he will cook, eat, he will be happy, and go and sleep.”
“There’s no excuse for him to beg you. Especially if he can cook more than you and also know how to keep malice, you will suffer in that relationship”, she said.
