Nigerian entrepreneur and social media influencer Laura Ikeji has expressed her support for the arrest of wives of individuals involved in cyber fraud, commonly referred to as Yahoo boys.
In a recent Instagram story, the spouse of Ogbonna Kanu stated that the partners of these men should also face arrest when their husbands are apprehended. She sought the opinions of her followers, highlighting the tendency of women to enjoy the benefits of their partners’ lifestyles while being reluctant to share in the consequences of their actions.
As a mother of three, she emphasized the commitment of marriage, suggesting that women should be prepared to face the repercussions alongside their partners, even humorously advising them to take their luxury handbags to jail.
“Wives of Yahoo men should also be arrested when these men are arrested. Don’t you think so? Y’all enjoy with them but don’t wanna suffer with them?

In other news, Music star Portable is about to release a new EP that tells the story of his conflict with the Ogun state government.
Recently, the singer was declared wanted by the police on several charges.
He later turned himself in at the Lagos SCID and was taken to the Ogun State Police headquarters.
He was charged in court with conspiracy, assault, and possession of weapons, and he pleaded not guilty.
Portable was granted bail of N20m and instructed not to talk about the case on social media. The trial has been postponed until March 5.
