Young John, a well-known Nigerian singer, songwriter, and producer, is unhappy about not being included in talks about the top musicians in Nigeria.

He feels he gets ignored because he began his career as a producer instead of a singer.

He believes that in time, the true best musicians will be recognized.

On his X handle, he wrote, “I see how you all leave me out of conversations prolly cos I started out as a producer. Continue! Time will tell!”

Young John became well-known as a producer at YBNL Nation, creating popular tracks for artists like Lil Kesh and Olamide.

After his time at YBNL, he started his singing career with Chocolate City.

Since then, he has put out many hit songs, such as Dada, Xtra Cool, Big Big Things, Bahamas, and Stronger.

In other news, Emeka Akumefule, also known as Blaqbonez, a famous Nigerian rapper, has spoken up about his upbringing.

In an interview with media personality Chude Jideonwo, Blaqbonez revealed that his father abandoned him at infancy.

He stated that as a result, he was not raised by his father.

“My Dad kind of dipped when I was born, so he wasn’t there. I wasn’t raised by my dad,” he shared.

During the interview, Blaqbonez called himself “the best rapper in Africa.”

He said that no African rapper had a better discography than him.

Last year, award-winning Ghanaian-American singer Amaarae called Blaqbonez the best rapper in Nigeria.
