During the recent episode of his show, ‘Curiosity Made Me Ask,’ Bae U suggested that AY lacks humor, emphasizing that his career illustrates that success in comedy does not necessarily require being funny.
“Our guest today is a reminder that you don’t have to be funny to be a successful comedian in Nigeria,” Bae U remarked while introducing AY in a preview of the forthcoming episode.
This preview has sparked a variety of reactions since it went viral.
AY has previously mentioned in an interview that he does not consider himself to be among the most humorous comedians in Nigeria.
